Pre-camp was pretty funny/screwy, with the usual mindgames from the TT, and all the speculation about activities and stuff.
Now to go through a massively truncated timeline...
Started with layout in the morning, with a grand total of 12 mistakes and 4 uniform errors. Darn wind >.<
but it was after 8 MINUTES despite me training tiger for 2...
So we fixed it and pumped 40, it being first layout.
After that, camp development. And we ran out of tent pegs, having to use the "new" ones which are like 5x less secure. Even then everyone had to take out two pegs so that we had enough to go around. Plus the impromptu-d gateway which was tied epicly loosely...
So I was pretty afraid of Tiger's chances of getting a good result, cos of the high weightage of campdev.
After that, ofc, was lunch followed by other random activity, then War games!
The playing field was pretty small, and powers were randomly abused.
I'd get half a dozen kills with a monkey-fist, then randomly get force-choked.
And then plc and batch dynamics. Arm pain.
Second day is pretty blurry. I remember backwoodsman cooking, which was funny cos our chicken burned. My firelighting skills have improved. Layout was also much better.
Everyone was complaining about tiredness and pain.
Second night was awesome! Sam came to our tent, started poking around. We were following him closely until he told us he didn't have any mean intentions.
After about 10 minutes of chatting, Fuhua came along and me, joshua and the two of them had a prayer meeting!
That's pretty unexpected, isn't it?
Joshua told me after that that his entire impression of Fuhua had just changed.
Goes to show that God is everywhere and anywhere-we just have to look for him.

And third day. Epic hike.
Epic breakfast.
Tiger got first overall. Yay.

Haiz. So much to say but can't say it all.
The sunset was taken just at the end of VoJ. My brain still functioned despite lack of sleep, thankyouverymuch.
ReplyDeleteThe Sandvich consisted of ketchup, condensed milk, and Japanese mayo. Not so much strong as stomachache.
