I just realised that today was the first time I have ponned a scout activity without a valid reason.

The first time in three years.

As Joshua so aptly put it, experiences with friends from church don't come often. There'll always be another campfire. In fact there's one next week.

But when I missed a campfire that I signed up for, even one that I forgot I had to attend, I can't help but feel guilty.

This is coming right after IAC. After I was sworn in as a Patrol Leader, no less. 

Oh well, it's over.

This won't happen again.
